Mary Makkazi – Uganda

MARY MAKKAZI

Mary Makkazi is a single mother of five children, living in Uganda. She owns a maize farm, on which she works hard to provide for her own family, as well as her sisters family. With Opportunity International’s help, she got training and support, which increased her yield and profit and helped her pay for school tuition fees and repairs on her house, something that used to be a big struggle.
